A Fun Challenge

This challenge was to create two 3D items, three card fronts and one scrapbook page. So much fun! Here are my samples:

Ribbon Organizer      3-D Item #1

Did you ever feel like you need to organize your ribbon? With my Petit Pocket Ribbon Organizer it’s easy to do. Just drop any size spool into the holder. Quickly and easily pull out just the amount needed without unwinding the spool too much. The ribbon holders could be stacked or color coded. And the best part - you can make them yourself with the Stampin’ Up! Petit Pocket Bigz XL die:

Card Stock:      Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Summer Smooches DSP
Ink / Marker:     Tango Tangerine
Accessories:     Petit Pocket Bigz XL Die, Floral Frames Framelits, Brights Designer Buttons, Baker's Twine, Circle Punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, lots of ribbon :-)

Bottle Koozie      3-D Item #2

This bottle koozie converts a regular bottle into a really cute gift. The bottle koozie is made with the Stampin' Up! Candy Wrapper Bigz L die.

For the decor I stamped the images with StazOn. Using the "Marker Layering" technique I colored the design with a blender pen and Stampin' Up! Classic Ink. For the bling I added some rhinestones. Here is a little more detail:

Card Stock:      Whisper White, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit
Stamps:           Bordering on Romance, Pretty Petites
Ink / Marker:     Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, StazOn
Accessories:     Curly Label punch, Petite Curly Label punch, Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 5/8" Flower Trim, Candy Wrapper Bigz L die, 3/8" Stiched Satin Ribbon in Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green

Secret Garden Thank You      Card #1

The Secret Garden stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2013 Spring Catalog comes with coordinating dies which makes it really easy to use and guarantees professional results.

Elegant Butterfly For You      Card #2

Framing the butterfly on this card really makes it pop. To add a little additional interest I decided to do several layers for the butterfly. First I punched the base layer from Daffodil Delight DSP. Then I punched another butterfly from SU Window Sheets and added Dazzling Details all the way around the edges.

Blowing Wishes Pinwheel   Card #3

This card features the masking technique to create the big blowing cloud. I punched out a circle and sponged around it. I also used the "direct to paper" technique to apply the ink directly onto the card stock with my ink pad for the wind.
Didn't this card turn out really cute? I can almost see the pinwheel spinning with all that wind blowing.

Card Stock:      Whisper White, Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Brights DSP
Stamps:           Wishes Your Way
Ink / Marker:     Bashful Blue, Real Red, Basic Black

Monkey Bars   Scrapbook Page #1

On this scrapbook page the background was stamped using the new Honeycomb Textured Impression Embossing Folder from the 2013 Spring catalog. I inked it up with a brayer and used it as a big background stamp. I also ran some of the card stock through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb TIEF. Having the pattern repeat on the page in different ways really pulls this page together.

Stamps:           Honeycomb TIEF
Ink / Marker:     Tango Tangerine, Lucky Limeade
Accessories:     Cute Clips,Tasteful Trim Bigz XL, Typeset Alphabet Bigz,Honeycomb TIEF

Feeling Sentimental Hello

This card is a hybrid card. For the sentiment I downloaded the "Oh, Hello" from the 2013 Spring catalog for my MDS. The bubble was created by cutting out the sentiment with the Ovals Collection Framelits and adding a square punched with the 1" square punch. To create the 3-D effect for the phone booth I first stamped the image on the card. Then I stamped the image on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and cut it out. After some bending and rubbing with the Simply Scored Stylus I attached it with a few Dimensionals.

Card Stock:      Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Grey
Stamps:           Feeling Sentmental
Ink / Marker:     Real Red, StazOn, Basic Grey
Accessories:    Chevron Folder, MDS
